What it is
Canyon West is the golf-course community anchored by Canyon West Golf Course (160 Club House Dr, west of Weatherford off the US-180 corridor) — a course genuinely unlike anything else in the region, with dramatic elevation changes and hilltop tee views, wrapped by home sites that range from course-side lots to acreage on the canyon rims. It's the far edge of this site's coverage on purpose: the value proposition is frontier pricing and scenery in exchange for distance. Course conditions have run up and down over the years (greens especially — recent player reports are mixed), so golfers buying for the course should play it twice in different months before committing.
The honest logistics file
The drive is the price: add most of thirty minutes past Weatherford's square to any I-20 commute — run the real number in the commute tables before falling for a view lot. District: this far west sits near the Brock / Millsap boundary seam — verify the district and campus for the exact parcel with the county before anything else (the Brock hub covers one side of that line). Utilities and internet are parcel-by-parcel out here: wells, septic, propane, and the address-level internet check all belong on the option-period list.
