Townhomes & houses for rent in Willow Park
If shared walls are the dealbreaker, the tracked market gives you exactly two answers a couple of minutes apart: Canvas, a 110-home build-to-rent neighborhood of standalone houses, and Willow Crossing, a gated community of new two-story townhomes. Both have attached two-car garages and confirmed Aledo ISD zoning. Everything else is a trade.

The honest tiebreakers
Dog household → Canvas. A real fenced yard beats a patio every single day, and it's the difference the monthly premium is actually buying.
Lowest entry price → Willow Crossing. Its cheapest 3BR undercuts Canvas's — but "while supplies last" means the special is unit-specific, so the advertised deal and your deal may differ. Get it in writing.
Watch the lease-length lever. Canvas's promotional rates appear tied to 14+ month terms — a longer commitment for the same headline weeks. Divide total cost by total months for each option (the calculator does it in ten seconds) and let effective rent decide, not the ad.
The deposit-alternative trap. Willow Crossing offers Jetty in place of a deposit — non-refundable, so cheaper today and more expensive forever. The move-in cost calculator makes the comparison concrete.
And the uncomfortable one: at $2,300+ monthly you're deep in ownership territory in Texas math — a payment like that supports roughly $275K of house. If your credit is solid, spend two minutes on the rent-vs-buy calculator before signing a 14-month term.
