What it is

Willow Crossing is a brand-new gated townhome community on Willow Crossing E in Willow Park: three- and four-bedroom two-story townhomes, roughly 1,700–2,229 square feet, each with an attached two-car garage and a private fenced patio. Interiors run granite-island kitchens, shaker cabinets, stained concrete downstairs, full-size washer/dryer, and a first-floor office or bedroom in select plans. Zoned to Aledo ISD — which, for many families, is the entire reason this address exists.

The special and the fine print

The advertised offer is 8 weeks rent free — “while supplies last.” That last clause matters: supply-limited concessions typically apply to specific units, so the free weeks you saw online may not attach to the unit you tour. Two other wrinkles worth knowing before you call. First, the community offers Jetty as a deposit alternative — a non-refundable monthly or one-time fee instead of a traditional deposit. Convenient for move-in cash flow, but non-refundable means you never see it again; a standard deposit usually comes back. Run both numbers. Second, advertised fees vary across listings (we have seen $65 apps, $300 admin, ~$35/month pet rent, and add-on “benefit packages” on some units) — ask for a full itemized move-in and monthly cost sheet for your specific unit, in writing.

Honest fit

Choose Willow Crossing if: you need three-plus bedrooms in Aledo ISD, want new construction and a garage, and value a gate. It competes directly with Canvas a couple of minutes away — Canvas gives you a standalone house and a yard; Willow Crossing counters with lower entry pricing and townhome efficiency. Comparing the two on effective rent (total lease cost ÷ months) is a genuinely close call worth ten minutes of arithmetic. Look elsewhere if: you are renting for one or two people — no 1- or 2-bedrooms here; Olympus and Gates own that lane in this pocket. And at $2,100+: you are in own-it territory — that payment supports roughly $250K of house. Thirty seconds on the calculator before you sign a lease this size.
